ufed physical analyzer 2 11

The ufed-Physical Analyzer 2 11 is a Type 1 or IIIA stainless steel analytical meter which analyzes the chemical composition of liquid samples. The analyzer offers accuracy and precision with high sensitivity, thus making it ideal for water analysis. The ufed-PA11 is an integrated test station with connection through the USB port to your computer so you can analyze your data. It features an automatic purge function which purges air to prevent air bubbles from affecting test results before it goes into memory. The versatile design of the unit makes it easy to use for both undergraduate and graduate students in chemistry, engineering, biology, environmental science, etc. The ufed-PA11 is ideal for studying ionic, colloidal, thermodynamic, viscosity, density and many other physical properties of liquids. The ufed-PA11 can test up to 10 liters of liquid in a single analysis. It is in compliance with the NIST Handbook for the standardization of physical measurements in chemistry. Using its programming capability you can also do different tests at the same time. The ufed-PA11 has an easy to read LCD display and a large LCD readout on the front faceplate which you can use to measure concentration and get instant results on your result. It uses a control panel to set up the experiment. Press one of the buttons on the control panel and a menu of selections appear in a drop down menu. Four arrow buttons make it easy to navigate through the options. The ufed-PA11 also has built-in programming that speeds data entry and dramatically improves efficiency in performing your tests. The computer interface enables you to load, store, print or email your data. Using the ufED Programmer module, you can easily manage your data from any computer with Internet connection without having to rely on expensive hardware platforms. Conductivity is used for testing solutions of electrolytes and solvents. The ufed-PA11 measures conductivity of solutions, with no effect from pH. This can be used to test your tap water, well water, salt water, mineral water, etc. Conductivity is also used to measure the salinity of ocean or lake waters. The conductivity may also be used to test radioactive solutions for alpha, beta and gamma radiation. pH is a measure of acidity or alkalinity - if the solution has a pH level higher than 7 it is basic (alkaline), if the solution has a pH level lower than 7 it is acidic. Acids are substances that turn litmus paper red or reduce hydrogen ions in solutions or solids - they are sour, sharp and corrosive. Bases are substances that produce hydroxides - they turn litmus paper blue, and increase hydrogen ions in solutions and solids. A pH of 7 is neutral. pH is measured for both industrial and analytical lab applications. Measure the pH of: industrial waste water, different solutions such as buffered solutions, cleaning agents, soil acidity, etc. For food testing you can test the acidity or alkalinity (pH) of: natural water such as spring water or mineral water; fruit juices; soft drinks; wines; beers; etc. The ufed-PA11 can also be used for scientific research in many fields including biology, chemical engineering, environmental science, plant sciences, etc. eccc085e13
